We’re Hiring
We're looking for talented Support Workers to join our dynamic team of carers — someone who has a real desire and passion for care.

Ideally, the candidate will have some experience, but it’s not essential as full training will be given.

If you’re looking to develop a career in caring you could be exactly who we're looking for.

Please note: In this position you'll be required to work a minimum of three shifts a week (minimum of 15 hours), which must incorporate evenings and weekends.

More details will be provided upon application.

The Role
The Support Worker role is field-based and EDS Homecare provides care in the following areas. If any or all of these areas suit you geographically, please let us know.

  • Matlock, Darley Dale, Bakewell & surrounding area
  • Chesterfield (S41)
  • Dronfield & surrounding area

Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be primarily responsible for attending a number of care visits and providing high quality care to a range of different people.

You'll also be tasked with the following:

  • Providing personal care to clients
  • Supporting the lifestyle of clients
  • Doing light household duties at the clients' homes
  • Recording information effectively onto our systems

The Candidate
The ideal candidate for the Support Worker role will have some care work experience and a natural, pleasant, helpful manner.

Full training on all key subjects will be provided and NVQs in care will be offered – but, we are looking for someone with a real desire to work in social care.

We are specifically looking for someone who is:

  • Kind & caring
  • Highly organised
  • Able to listen & empathise with a variety of people
  • Comfortable using computers & smartphones

The Company
Established in 1999, we are a well-established domiciliary care provider covering the Peak District, Derbyshire Dales, Chesterfield and North Derbyshire region.

We are a company that people want to work for because we offer regular working patterns, enabling a good work/life balance and dynamic managerial support; we offer fantastic opportunities for progression and nationally recognised qualifications.

Our friendly, caring team is approachable and visible, and our management team is very accessible. In addition, during the pandemic the safety of our staff and service users has been, and remains, at the forefront of everything we do.

The Package
Basic salary: £19,500 to £24,500. Minimum of 15 hours per week available at a rate of £10.50 an hour.

Additional benefits: 28 days’ paid holiday (pro rata for part-time hours), travel allowance of 45p per mile, company mobile, uniform, full PPE and company pension.
