When it comes to care for you, or care for Mum or Dad, it is very important that you have the best. At Eyam Domiciliary Service we pride ourselves on promoting independence, empowering your wishes and maximising you or your family’s quality of life all under your own roof.
EDS understand that to independent people being able to stay at home, even when not in the best of health, is incredibly important. We are here to ensure that this is a realistic and achievable aim while still receiving first class care and support.
Sadly, as we all get older, things can get a little trickier to do, and places become harder to reach, but with the support from EDS, the needs of you or your loved ones can be met in a bespoke, client centred care plan.
EDS provides care from as little as a 20 minute pop in call to a live in care with everything in between such as a full package of care with 4 calls a day, a sitting service, shopping or cleaning calls and over-night care.
It is important to us that you can have your needs, or needs of a loved one, met to your requirements and to the standard that you would expect a first class service with an enviable reputation to meet. Please take a look at what we can do for you or your loved one:-
- ALL aspects of Personal Care

Prior to starting Eyam Domiciliary Service in 1999 Lucy, our Care Director, gained vast experience in elderly care, acute and continuing care, rehabilitation and end of life care as a hands on Senior Ward Sister in charge of a specialist unit at a major hospital trust for nearly 20 years. She is a Registered General Nurse and holds a B.Sc (Hons) in Nursing. Additionally she has teaching and assessing qualifications, including PTTLS, and certified specialist professional courses covering many areas of elderly care, enabling her to be a highly knowledgeable and effective manager who enjoys teaching everything she knows to all our staff and ensuring you, or your relative, receive the highest standard of care at home.
